This Raspberry Lemonade Fizz Smoothie is light, refreshing, and crisp. Its fresh, lemony kick is balanced by sweet Medjool dates. Its sweet raspberry punch and creamy smoothie texture are thinned to an effervescent hum with a splash of cool sparkling water.

You can almost hear it fizz, right?
This smoothie requires just five ingredients, and although it's incredibly simple, it truly tastes special.
Something about the fizziness of the sparkling water makes this smoothie almost punch-like. Think 80s-sherbet-punch-bowl punch but made with pure, feel-good ingredients.
Now we're talking.
One sip and my mind sails into a balmy abyss of happy summer memories...
A childhood lemonade stand from the summer of '89.
Sipping ice cold lemonade with friends on the Chicago lakefront.
A double-scoop of lemon Italian ice melting under a stream of sunshiny rays.
To make this smoothie, you'll add the following ingredients to a high-speed blender:
Frozen raspberries
Filtered water
Natural Delights Medjool dates
Fresh lemon juice
Blend on high until completely smooth. Then, taste and adjust the flavor to please your palate.
For instance, if you prefer a sweeter lemonade smoothie, add another pitted date or two. If you prefer a zippier, tangier smoothie, add another splash of fresh lemon juice.
Divide the smoothie between two glasses. Then, top with a gentle pour of sparkling water and serve immediately.
Thanks to the potassium- and fiber-rich dates as well as the vitamin-c laden raspberries and lemon juice, this smoothie packs a surprising punch of vitamins and minerals.
One serving (i.e., ½ the recipe) of this raspberry lemonade fizz smoothie packs 112% daily value of vitamin c, 4 grams of plant-based protein, 18 grams of dietary fiber, and 20% daily value of potassium. Move over, bananas.
This is a smoothie that nourishes and sustains just as much as it refreshes, and it's one I plan to return to time and time again as the summer heat moves in throughout the coming months.
Cheers!
