This Nourishing Mango Passion Fruit Smoothie is just as revitalizing as it is delicious. Mango and passion fruit are packed with Vitamin C and Vitamin A, the former of which boosts our immunity and the latter of which plays a role in eye and skin health. This powerful, fruity duo also boasts generous amounts of potassium, magnesium, and iron along with small amounts of selenium (a tricky-to-find yet necessary mineral), zinc, and calcium.Â
Back in the day, I used to share a smoothie recipe nearly every Wednesday. Since it's been a while since I've shared a smoothie recipe on any day of the week at all, I figured today, a Wednesday, would be a great day to reunite smoothie love and tradition as one.
Interestingly, it appears that I was in a similar predicament the last time I shared a passion fruit smoothie. Perhaps the tangy tropical fruit gets my wheels turning or maybe it's simply a coincidence? Oh the mystery. . .
Toting a generous dose of good-for-your-bod vitamins and minerals, this Nourishing Mango Passion Fruit Smoothie is just as revitalizing as it is delicious.
Mango and passion fruit are packed with Vitamin C and Vitamin A, the former of which bolsters our immunity and the latter of which plays a role in eye and skin health. This powerful, fruity duo also boasts generous amounts of potassium, magnesium, and iron along with small amounts of selenium (a tricky-to-find yet necessary mineral), zinc, and calcium. Plus, both fruits offer oodles of dietary fiber, which aids digestion and encourages colon detoxification. Not too shabby for a seemingly simple fruit smoothie, eh?
Perhaps most importantly of all, this smoothie's taste is just as enticing as its nutritional perks. So you can sip on a tasty smoothie and get that nourishing, feel-good glow too. ♥

Is it crazy that I've never tried passionfruit? Haha! This looks so amazing though!!!
Ashley says
Totally not crazy at all, Ali! I think my first time having it was just a couple of years ago. It's tricky to find, isn't it? And it seems that whenever I find it fresh, it's quite pricey. This frozen pulp was an exciting find given the price and the quantity. Hope you have the chance to try passionfruit sometime soon!

This sounds amazing!! I love passionfruit but haven't tried it in a smoothie, yet. Now I know that I must make it happen!
Ashley says
Thanks, Amanda! Yes, you must give it a try in a smoothie—it adds a lively brightness in terms of both color and flavor.
