Peachy Pear Smoothie

Light, crisp, sweet, refreshing, cool, and frosty. This simple smoothie comes together with just five ingredients: one ripe + juicy pear, a few heaps of frozen peaches, a splash of almond milk, dates to sweeten, and fresh lemon juice to brighten. It's sweet but not too sweet, and you can up the sweetness or reduce it to suit your tastes (sweeter=more dates, less sweet=fewer dates).

Servings: 1 (20-ounce) smoothie or 2 (10-ounce) smoothies


  • 1 ripe D'Anjou or Barlett pear, cored and roughly diced
  • 2 cups frozen peach slices
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 soft medjool dates, pitted*
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender, and blend on high for 2 minutes or until completely smooth.


*If you're not using a high-speed blender, soak the dates in hot water for 30 minutes before blending.
