I spread the giving spirit by always trying to share any of the holiday goodies I cook up! I just made a huge batch of gluten free, dairy free, egg free brownies and I can't wait to share them with the other girls with allergies in my dorm!

I LOVE to give gifts, much more than receiving them. If the gift gives back in some way, it's even better.

My family and I are very poor and I have suffered from an extremely painful and rare disorder for three years, which has required one brain surgery and several more surgeries, which unfortunately did not help. My husband is a disabled Army veteran who can no longer work. Despite being poor in cash, we are rich with love and try to extend compassion and assistance to those who are having an even harder time than we are. We raise chickens and donate two hens to families who would like to learn how to raise them and supplement meager food stamps with fresh eggs.
Also, every year before Christmas my family- including my 3 and 8 year old daughters go through toys and clothes they no longer want, and my husband and I gather clothes that no longer fit, and we all drive to the nearest Goodwill to donate these things to people in need. We also make sure to stock up on canned goods when they are on sale, and at least twice a year we donate food to our rural town's food bank. We know what it is like to struggle to feed our family, but while we can we try to help people who don't know how they will feed their children that day, as much as we possibly can. Thank you!

I spread the giving spirit by giving unto others.I know what it is to go without food, clothing, shelter and basic necessities so I donate every season. I gather the clothes that no longer fit, toys and daily necessities and give to local women's and children shelter close by. Volunteer at clothing drive and supervise son in toy donation yard sale. Thanks. Giving always feels good.
