About World Vision
World Vision exemplifies the spirit of giving during the holiday season. As one of the largest relief and advocacy organizations in the world, World Vision's efforts serve over 4 million children, 1,650 communities, and nearly 90 disaster and emergency responses each year. Every dollar donated yields $1.15 in terms of impact, and donating can be as simple as purchasing one of their beautiful hand-crafted gifts. From jewelry to bags to spices, World Vision's hand-crafted gifts are a wonderful way to offer a gift to a loved one while supporting a meaningful change initiative.
World Vision Prosperity Cinnamon Giveaway
One winner will receive World Vision's Prosperity Cinnamon gift (normally an $85 donation). Each beautifully-carved cinnamon bark box contains 3 oz. of cinnamon and bears a common Asian character for prosperity. Vietnam's renowned sweet cinnamon is a renewable resource collected from the Cassia tree, sold to benefit generations of hard-working families. For a chance to win, simply enter the giveaway using the Rafflecopter widget below and comment on this post between November 30th and December 7th. Please note: this giveaway is open to US residents only.

I spread the giving spirit by always trying to share any of the holiday goodies I cook up! I just made a huge batch of gluten free, dairy free, egg free brownies and I can't wait to share them with the other girls with allergies in my dorm!

My family and I are very poor and I have suffered from an extremely painful and rare disorder for three years, which has required one brain surgery and several more surgeries, which unfortunately did not help. My husband is a disabled Army veteran who can no longer work. Despite being poor in cash, we are rich with love and try to extend compassion and assistance to those who are having an even harder time than we are. We raise chickens and donate two hens to families who would like to learn how to raise them and supplement meager food stamps with fresh eggs.
Also, every year before Christmas my family- including my 3 and 8 year old daughters go through toys and clothes they no longer want, and my husband and I gather clothes that no longer fit, and we all drive to the nearest Goodwill to donate these things to people in need. We also make sure to stock up on canned goods when they are on sale, and at least twice a year we donate food to our rural town's food bank. We know what it is like to struggle to feed our family, but while we can we try to help people who don't know how they will feed their children that day, as much as we possibly can. Thank you!
