This hydrating cherry-grape lemonade smoothie is the perfect smoothie for those hot and steamy summer days. Juicy grapes, tart montmorency cherries, fresh lemon juice, dates, and filtered water yield a tart yet sweet smoothie that's just as thirst-quenching as it is flavorful.
This cherry-grape lemonade smoothie is crisp, ultra hydrating, and has the perfect balance of tart + sweet.
I'd be hard-pressed to find a more suitable smoothie for summer, because there are few as refreshing as this one. . .
As with most of the smoothie recipes I've shared over the years, this one relies on a minimal number of ingredients and a mere one-minute whirl around a blender.
Simply toss the following into a blender. . .
Frozen tart (montmorency) cherries
+
Fresh (seedless) red grapes
+
Filtered water
+
2–4 pitted medjool dates
+
Fresh lemon juice
Then, blend into cool, thirst-quenching perfection.
Pour into one big glass (or 2–3 smaller glasses if you're in a generous mood).
And sip your way to a state of (well-hydrated) happiness. . .
